PUTRAJAYA: Over 8,000 attendees brought lively energy to the Putrajaya Green Light Run 2023 at Anjung Floria on December 9, 2023. Deputy Finance Minister 1, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, emphasized the event’s role in promoting a healthier lifestyle. Inspired by a Tokyo race, participants faced the challenge of navigating traffic lights, making it a uniquely thrilling experience.
The 7-kilometer night race, starting at 8:30 pm, demanded stamina and strategy to pass through traffic lights strategically. Simultaneously, the afternoon carnival featured diverse activities, including an open karaoke session, stage performances, a Food Bazaar, and Zumba, with singer Nas Adilla.
The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, family recreation, and position Putrajaya as a night-time leisure destination. Tune Advertising Sdn Bhd offered exciting prizes through a lucky draw, adding to the event’s festive atmosphere.
Hosted by Fara Fauzana, the open-air concert featured popular artists Ernie Zakri, Afieq Syazwan, and Amir Masdi, offering a live selection of hit songs. The event, sponsored by VFive Group, Gloria Jeans, 1901 Hotdog, and Decathlon, collaborated with local clubs and organizations, supported by Perbadanan Putrajaya, Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan, and Tourism Malaysia.
